on Tuesday Feb 16th – we celebrate “Fat Tuesday” (Mardi Gras) with a potluck! (6:30pm, Skey Room)

on Wednesday Feb 17th – we enter Lent – with a 7:30pm Ash Wednesday Taize-influenced service, with optional imposition of ashes (7:30pm, the Church).

‘river’ will be ‘giving up church for Lent’ (in a way) as we head out into the neighbourhood to gather for remembrance.  keep checking in on this website, ‘river’ facebook group, and our email list for ‘river’ lent (Sunday) locations.
