we’ve (just about) made it through the wilderness of lent.

here’s what’s happening this “holy week” in the river worship community:

- holy thursday april 1 starting @5pm -held at epiphany & st. mark church / pnc (201 cowan ave) – it all starts with a traditional passover seder meal & potluck (5pm) then footwashing and communion (7pm) – with 4 communities; ‘river’/jeremiah, parkdale neighbourhood church, epiphany & st. mark & st. anne.  you can show up at 5pm or at 7pm.  If you’re coming at 5, please bring a potluck item which is in the spirit of being kosher (no pork being the biggest thing).

- overnight prayer and meditation vigil - held at St. Annes -  from thursday night until Good Friday service – take shifts + social justice stations of the cross (in the church).

- good friday april 2 - @ st. Anne’s -good friday service @ 3pm.  you can also do the social justice stations after the service.

- easter april 4 – Easter service – sunday at 4pm (our regular time) @ st. anne’s!!! CHRIST IS RISEN.  followed by an Easter Egg hunt and delicious homemade goodies from Helen!
